Today's factory installed car audio systems are littered with poor speaker placement in a highly reflective environment that is not conducive to high performance listening. Replacing these speakers with higher quality aftermarket units can provide better tonal quality but proper staging and imaging is still compromised due to these poor speaker locations. In the past, an elaborate and costly custom installation would be required to place the speakers in the proper location for optimum staging and imaging. We started with the provision of GermanMAESTRO Team's groundbreaking WideSphere™-Technology at the recent German made MB Quart Premium PVF Series. Those days are already history! Now the GermanMAESTRO Team has moved forward again refining that superb Technology up to another new acoustical Dimensions named as: MegaSphere™ and - because of its extra wide frequency range - as UltraSphere™. UltraSphere™ and MegaSphere™ provide a quality of 3-dimensional sound projection, which we think was never achieved before with comparable car-speaker systems.
So listeners experience - especially out of horizontal as well as vertical listener axis - significantly less information losses as compared to those other speaker systems.
The heart of the GermanMAESTRO Team's "X-SphereT"-Technologies consists of its unique 4 different tweeter-systems engineered and produced in Germany.
> The 2 tweeters MT 40 WS used in the M-Line and ST 40 WS used in the STATUS-Line with their inverted titanium dome and high performance neodymium ring magnet, (already tested > in their recent German made MB Quart versions "Q" QTF 40 and "Premium" PTF 40 <)- providing an extra wide frequency range from 1.200 - 32.000 Hertz - (reviewed by many renowned magazines with outstanding results).
The EPIC Line's ultra small ET 20 WS and the CT 30 WS as straightly trimmed to drive the CONCEPT Line towards best in class sound performance. An extraordinarily wide radiation angle, very well settled resonance frequency points and excellent power handling capabilities, combined with outstanding linearity are the result of intensive research, computer simulations and decade-long experience with ultra light titanium as source material for tweeter domes. The use of new materials as well as new material refining processes coupled with exhaustive engineering and tuning time has lead to a specially defined connection of cap and surround area calculated to the closest tolerances and a result far ahead of the competition. The spaciousness, precision and power handling, all contribute to the new tweeter's superb tonal balance in both on-axis and off-axis installations.
