The GermanMAESTRO's STATUS-Line provides excellent sound quality and performance well above and beyond the ordinary. Built with great components from M-Line and the EPIC-Line Technology, STATUS owns everything being a very high-quality car audio loudspeaker range going its own way to provide excellence in every detail.
The component loudspeakers of the "STATUS SV" use the tweeter ST 40 WS. This ST 40 WS is developed on the basis of GermanMAESTRO´s innovative -Technology, found also in the
M Nano-Series as MT 40 WS
. As special capabilities of this tweeter you find an outstanding resonance- and radiation characteristics combined with an extreme power handling resulting in a continuous SPL provision from more than 100dB.
Equipped with its inverted titanium dome and driven by a very high power neodym magnet, we think there is currently nothing else existing from a serial production being competitive against these super made in Germany tweeters ST 40 WS and MT 40 WS.
High-End Experts also can get the ST 40 WS tweeters separately to upgrade their existing car speaker system.
On the midrange-woofer-side the SV series uses very high quality cones made from a special polypropylene composite and driven by edge-wound 1"/25 mm voice coils. The two-piece loudspeaker baskets made exclusively of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic compo-site also provides a sophisticated heat-sink system with special ventilation pole-pieces, silver painted panels and metal magnet covers for optimum cooling of the magnet system.
The new STATUS SX performance crossover designed in CTC Technology (Concerted Termal Compensation) uses selected components and an innovative rotary tweeter-level attenuator. Together with the high-flexibility installation technique and Bi-Wiring-Amping connection capability, the crossover offers function well in excess of those normally found in its class.
SW 6509: If you´re planning to upgrade an existing 2-way system of the M-, STATUS-, EPIC- or even CONCEPT-Line, in order to get a full-bodied 3-way set or if you just want to add more kickbass, the STATUS SW 6508 will become your premium choice. Generously ventilated pole-pieces, dedicated spiders and surround plus a solitary crossover design for that special application, will give you what you´re looking for.
SV 6509 Active: In addition as a Special Version the GermanMAESTRO engineers created the set SV 6509 Active, which is purposely not equipped with crossovers. Detailed additional technical information provided about the tweeters and the mid/woofers allow consumers to drive the speaker system actively by using separate amplifiers and active crossovers. |
