Based on the legendary CONCEPT-Line the new CONCEPT 2 Ohm Line is designed as a special high efficiency version:

Various OEM fitted Head-Unit Systems (CD-/DVD Receiver) are designed for 2 Ohm speakers, as well as more and more Micro-Amplifiers of latest generation can only supply full output power with 2 ohms speaker systems.

Now the GermanMAESTRO CONCEPT 2 Ohm provides the option taking full power out of amplifiers (being stable with 2-3 ohms) resulting in a speaker's SPL increase of about + 100%, compared to a similarly system with 4 ohms.

For this the GermanMAESTRO Team engineered a new Cone-Driver-Systems providing in combination with the 2 ohms voice coil up to 3-4 dB more SPL (compared with traditional 4 ohm speakers on same amplifier keeping input level constant) - thus about double of loudness compared to a similarly 4 ohms system.

Beside this great SPL benefit the GermanMAESTRO Engineers also took care keeping the existing sound performance on the same high level as you know from the traditional CONCEPT-Line products. So listeners will experience the superb homogeneous frequency response on sound as well as the great bass power - according to the GermanMAESTROs' philosophy for strait-forward sound performance without any knickknack gimmicks.

The MegaSphere™ Tweeter-System CT 30 WS

The very innovative geometry of CT 30 WS tweeter's inverted pure titanium dome was engineered from very intensive and detailed researches supported by manifold computer simulations. Calculated to the closest tolerances, implemented in a very complex multi-step stamping- cutting process and using only very high selected titanium material, this tweeter is straightly trimmed to drive all CONCEPT Line models towards top of class sound performance.

With provision of an extraordinarily wide radiation angle this hand crafted in Germany tweeter also supplies out of axis full performance without reasonable information losses. We think that the very linear frequency response and the excellent power handling capabilities drives this extraordinary titanium tweeter to a sound quality level, which has never been before in such product category.

Due to it's very small outer dimensions, you can easily fit this tweeter in many installation positions of your car.

The new CONCEPT-2 Ohms Cone-Driver

The CONCEPT-2 Ohms woofer consists in a very high quality cone made from a special polypropylene composite and driven by special-wound 1"/25 mm voice coil fired by extra optimized magnet systems. The two-piece loudspeaker baskets - made exclusively from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic composite - also provides a sophisticated heat-sink system with special ventilated pole-pieces for optimum cooling of the magnet system. They also contain an acoustical low-pass filter, in order to focus the x-over only on high-pass work resulting in a very lively sound reproduction without any filter-losses. So you can drive those woofers directly connected to your amplifier without getting any bad, disturbing signals impacting the tweeters' high frequency performance.
